  • One of the best actual play solo podcasts out there. Steve's an amazing storyteller, and he brings the characters and the world to life. I celebrate with the characters when they win and commiserate with them when they lose. The end of one episode always leaves me eager for the next. Two thumbs up on this one.

  • I just finished season 1. I wanted to share that I really loved the storytelling, and I grew quite attached to the characters. I would basically pump my fist on strong hits and feel the loss on a miss. To get real reactions from me feels like a big thing for a podcast to do. I look forward to catching up to the newest season and hearing all the other adventures Steve takes us on!

  • Immersive Storytelling and Distinct Characters

I found this podcast while searching for an Actual Play of Blades in the Dark, and I really enjoyed the one-shot! I only wish it had been a full campaign. Now I’m listening to season 2 - Talon and Crest, which has a similar vibe, and I love the world, the characters, and the story immensely. I’m especially impressed by Steve’s ability to voice all the characters so distinctly, without ever overdramatizing. I’ve definitely become a fan!
