  • One of the best!

Samm is great at talking about movies with both excitement and understanding. She isn’t just dipping a toe into these movies because she has to get the next episode out, she’s up to her neck in knowledge!

  • A standard bearer for film podcasts

I was a massive fan of Deighan’s previous podcast, Twitch of the Death Nerve, so I had high hopes for this one. So far, all my expectations have been wildly surpassed. Everything that was great about Death Nerve is present here, but focus on scholarship and criticism is way more rich and focused.

Deighan is an excellent podcaster, and the production quality and content of this show makes it one of the best film podcasts being produced today.
