I love the dynamic between Caitlin (a super fan who has read all the books) and Mandi (who is new to the story). I like getting both perspectives on the show, and their in-depth discussions on the adaptive choices, themes, acting, costuming, etc. I’m getting a lot more out the show from listening.

Couldn’t finish the episode where they reviewed Shadow and Bone Season 2 Episode 1. I understand that one of them is a fan of the books, but it’s 2023, how do they not realize by now that a TV/movie adaptation will never be like the books; some things don’t translate well and they’re trying to reach a bigger audience.
