  • Loved being a guest on Dr. Mary’s podcast

I truly enjoyed being a guest on Dr Mary’s podcast as we discussed Qigong and how the practice “works with our energy”. This ancient Chinese practice combines coordinated body posture, movement, breathing, and meditation.

The conversation weaves together Eastern wisdom traditions, comparing and contrasting yoga's structured poses with Qigong's fluid, dance-like movements. Dr. Mary is a fabulous host.

  • Excellent Source

Mary is such a beautiful soul and gentle teacher and has SO much wisdom to share. I really enjoy this podcast and I always learn something new or find a different way of interpreting something. Sometimes, the material seems over my head and it can be presented quickly, and I need more time to integrate/understand it, but overall, a really enlightening and powerful source for information which isn’t necessarily easy to access in our world today—Mary and her guests make that possible.

Chronic Stress & Burnout | Dr. Melissa Lewis-Darte
Q: What are some red flags people should notice that indicate they're approaching burnout?
Red flags vary per person, but common signals include persistent physical tension (shoulders, headaches), sleep disruption, and changes in energy or mood. It's important to map these signals to the body and begin addressing them with small, actionable steps rather than waiting for a bigger crisis.
Chronic Stress & Burnout | Dr. Melissa Lewis-Darte
Q: Could you walk us through how your Take 5 Framework practically helps a high-functioning woman with a busy schedule start managing stress today?
The framework offers five avenues—physical, cognitive, emotional, purposeful, and organizational. Start with one bite-sized practice, like a five-minute breathing exercise, to reduce physiological arousal, then gradually add another cue or micro-habit until you build a sustainable routine that fits into daily life.
The Fundamentals of Energy Medicine | Allyn Evans
Q: So, Allyn, in your own words, how do you define Energy Medicine?
Allyn explains that energy medicine centers on intention and the energy healing protocols taught at Monroe Institute, with Reiki as a pathway. She emphasizes experiential learning—moving from belief to knowing through firsthand experience within structured programs.
Mindful Movement Practice | Veronique Ory, YTT
Q: How can someone begin to apply mindfulness off the mat in daily life?
She suggests routines like a technology-free morning, color-coding a calendar for balance, and choosing real-world interactions over scrolling.
