This show has some interesting sci-fi concepts, such as how AIs experience emotions (also, the robot is the best character). The acting is decent at best, with a couple actors sounding painfully scripted/stilted. I liked the idea of this more than the execution. I heard they planned to reboot this and an improved version of this story could have been interesting, but the last episode was in 2018 and it has been a couple years since their last update on social media, so it's likely dead.
Left it without an ending. So If you’re cool with that, then have at it. If not, don’t waste your time!
It’s a shame they never made it back for a second season. I want to know more. :(
In the farthest reaches of space, a spaceship crew awaken from stasis. With their memories wiped clean these amnesiac’s need to uncover who they are, their mission & how to get along.
The crew travel the uncharted territories of the galaxy where there is much to discover. The predicament of the human race is a mystery that needs to be unraveled. There is a dark & sinister atmosphere present at all times.
A well produced show that explores the complexities of human behaviour in extreme situat... more
It’s a shame this show won’t have additional seasons...seemingly. It’s unique, clever, albeit pretty rough around the edges. I’d have liked to have heard the actors become less stilted in their deliveries (not complaining, truly, but the inexperience is easy to hear).
Sure, the science in the ‘sci-fi’ is also a bit rough, but with all the other space-focused/horror/noir podcasts out there, the premise and plot of this really stood out.
Will definitely be searching out other projects of those... more
Excellent characterization, good setting, and really awesome acting and audio overall. Give it s listen! It's totally worth your time.
That said, it's hamstrung by a REALLY bad ending (everyone picks up several idiot balls) so, heads up on that.
I enjoy the narrative of the podcast. I’m a Sci-Fi fan and hungry for more episodes.
The idea of the show and story is great. Very entertaining and I’m excited to hear new episodes. Most (some though seem a little too overacted, cheesy or forced) of the voice acting and sound effects are really good. I know it takes time to produce, edit etc., but some of the early episodes there is a lot of dead time or really quiet, somewhat creepy, ominous music played. Extensively. About 45 seconds at the end of the episode not to mention the time in between dialogue or changes in scenarios.... more
An interesting concept for a story with having the characters not know who they once were and that they might be the last of humanity in the universe. The audio isn't as great as it could be and the characters can be a little stupid and annoying sometimes and they make choices which only serve the plot. The atmosphere of this show is very good and I really like the character of Robbot and I would say give this show a shot.
I kind of see what they are going for here, but OMG the wooden, stilted acting. The uninformed "sciency" stuff hidden behind convenient pseudo-amnesia. The tissue paper plot. I wanted to like this, I like the IDEA of this podcast, but after five episodes I had to call it a big old no.
This was a great entertainment. A nice way to spend a bit of a Friday night. The plot was well thought out. The characters very interesting. And I love the concept of a eyes. I hope to see season to eventually but I don’t have the money to contribute.
I’m a lover for sci-fi
An absolutely brilliant podcast with excellent audio quality, writing and voice acting. I would recommend it to anyone
