芯片设计本质上是一个"预测问题":给定一个电路结构,在它被制造出来之前,预测它的行为。
验证的成本,占到了整个设计预算的50%以上。仿真慢,测试向量多,首次硅片成功率在下降。这是EDA行业几十年来一直在应对的问题。
但世界模型提供了一条新的思路。
它不是替代现有的验证工具——形式验证、随机仿真、SPICE仿真——而是提供一个"快速直觉层":在精确验证之前,先用学会了电路物理规律的AI模型,快速筛出最可能有问题的区域,然后再调用那些精确但缓慢的工具,做重点验证。
