I love this podcast. It’s not only for people of color- everyone can benefit from these discussions.
As a young person of color moving to New York to peruse theatre, I am absolutely living for this podcast! It’s insanely inspirational, moving, and entertaining! I hope it goes super far !!!
Cheeyang is a talent who truly listens with empathy, questions out of respect and caters all that personal and educational stories with a tone of fun! These episodes are deeply Asian but widely universal. Highly recommend.
I am an Asian American born and raised from Reno, NV and this spoke to me on so many levels. I’m lucky to hear that there are platforms like this that allow us to get one step closer to peace.
My daughter and I adore Kuhoo, and are absolutely obsessed with Octet. We really got to meet her virtually in a way we never otherwise would have, if not for this amazing podcast. This idea of “diversity” is a strong theme in my family’s life, too, and she really gave words to issues we face daily. Than you for putting this meaningful interaction out there.
These episodes feature exciting and accomplished artists, who are not so much interviewed as engaged in a wonderfully intimate conversation by Cheeyang. I applaud their courage in sharing deeply vulnerable stories and I admire their hearts and minds. Must listen!
i’ve been waiting for a podcast that talks about theatre through and asian/asian-american lens and this podcast is it! cheeyang and the guests give such beautiful, interesting, and honest stories about their experiences and life. this is the kind of representation i’ve been craving! i can’t wait for more episodes!!
Cheeyang’s interview with Kuhoo is thought-provoking, heartfelt, and inspiring. Thank you for doing this work!!!
