Great job, Ricky!
Thoughtful and interesting conversations!
Love hearing different perspectives. Rick does a great job at making each episode seem more of a story rather than an interview.
The podcast is truly engaging as it explores a wide variety of guests and topics with a lens pointed at creativity and the creative process. Ricky McEachern interviews a wide variety of artists, professionals, and creatives in a style that is comforting and casual, and asks truly thought-provoking questions. Listening to his podcast feels like listening in to an intimate conversation between old friends.
I love the variety of guests and enjoy how the podcast is helping me realize creativity is a much broader, more inclusive term than what we stereotype it to be.
Ricky McEachern introduces a wide range of artists and ideas through these in-depth interviews. It’s great to hear the details of each artist’s work process, the often surprising questions & the insights that follow.
A very interesting series of creative interviews that always leaves me informed and looking forward to the next episode!
Eager to Know has quickly become a valued resource for a diverse range of perspectives from artists and creatives. Conversations are engaging and lead to new provocative thoughts and ideas. I’m now a loyal listener.
Rick should be commended for his efforts in seeking out and interviewing a wide range of creative individuals.
Ricky is such a great interviewer and host! His friendly and personable style make the interview feel as comfortable and natural as a chat among friends. But his curious mind and engaging questions elevate it into a thoughtful and fascinating conversation.
So much fun and also informative to listen to a candid conversation between artists!
Rick is so good at guiding a conversation, yet allowing the interviewee to flow into areas that might otherwise be left undiscovered and learned. What a lovely podcast and forum!
The great thing about conversations with fine artists is how many other things they’re interested in outside of art and how that informs and leads to the gestation and manifestation in their work. Host Ricky McEachern selects folks to interview who are mostly like himself: DIY creatives with a limited arts education. To compensate for a lack of serious content pertaining to fine art and related subjects, McEachern and his guests seem more at ease (and/or only capable of) discussing psychologica... more
Re: Creativity
I always learn something and/or are reminded of something important that I have forgotten to emphasize in my life. And it’s entertaining; not a boring lecture style at all! Ricky’s voice is easy on the ears too.
Enjoying these e2k Podcasts! When I heard Paul Schultz say that he “believed everyone is creative, it’s a matter of believing you are,” I thought “I could never do what Paul and Ricky do.” As if reading my mind, the next thing I heard Ricky and Paul say was that a lot of people tell them they aren't creative, and couldn't do what they do. When I took Paul’s suggestion to look for clues as to what “my creative side” may be, I realized that its one I've developed through my profession as an atto... more
