  • Love this podcast.

    Hi :)

My name is Jamisa J. and I hope to work with Ryan Coogler one day, God willingly. I love these convos he does with other directors/writers they all feel very light and informative but also supportive. I believe that’s what other creators need within ourselves to show love to other creators because ultimately we need each other to keep growing and expanding this difficult art form. Much love to everyone apart of this podcast.

  • The inspiration I need

This pod appeared after indulging in content about Ryan Coogler as he and the cast promote Sinners. This is just what I needed while I’m in between writing. Listening to other writers explain, encourage, and share their thoughts on the craft is priceless. Each guest seems truly genuine and passionate about writing. As I go through this quiet season of soaking game, this podcast is helping me get through some challenging times of wanting to write but having to develop the discipline to letting th... more

Q: What did it feel like to win an Oscar for a short film and how did that moment shape your career?
