I always enjoy hearing their thoughtful views on various shows. They watch the episodes multiple times, and have a good discussion. They aren’t afraid to point out things that don’t work.
Started listening. Within a minute one of the hosts starts cussing. I wont have it and will always write bad reviews for lazy, uneducated folk who cant string a sentence together without using the F word. Grow up !
Enjoy the show and analysis of each episode. But I do wish the podcast had two hosts that really enjoy and are fans of Lord of the Rings. You can tell one of them is a big fan and has a passion for the LOTR world. But it is clear the other host doesn’t really care. You can sum of all of his feedback on each episode with “ehh it was okay”. I would enjoy the podcast more if both hosts showed up excited to talk about the show.
These guys have a genuine motivation to understand, and indeed, delve deep, into the Tolkien legendarium. And they do so with an understated humility and respect for both the written lore and the RoP. But the entertaining dichotomy that they bring to their pod, is the genuine irreverent mirth that they express in their exploration of the subject material. They are a *very* funny pair of friends, who quite naturally bring some much needed and refreshing humour to the Tolkien world. And best part ... more
From there terrible jokes from not understanding simple storylines from not being able to pronounce easy and well known names the show is just trash.
Both of you are lucky people with an actual brain don’t combat the STUPID and RIDICULOUS things you say.
Thank god I don’t have to listen to them for another 2 years. Hopefully you guys actually get good at this podcast thing and the show improves.
