…however, the way the hosts feel about Galadriel, is precisely the way I feel about the commentary. Like I stated, I appreciate their time, especially the content with the Lorehounds.
This is low quality content. The first several episodes with the lore hounds were a good primer for the series but once we actually get into the breakdown and analysis of each episode the pod begins to devolve. The hosts, whose names I can’t remember, are broken records commenting over and over again on how great the show looks while stumbling through a disjointed recap and simultaneously lamenting the complexity of the lore while doing a poor job of explaining it. David and John of the lore hounds were great to kick this podcast off. When it transitioned to Aaron and jim(?) the show goes severely downhill. They’re incredibly negative and complain about literally every part of the show. I was so relieved when they brought back the lore hounds for the finale to hear an unbiased account. This show is honestly depressing
