I keep trying to like this podcast as the guests are interesting. However, the sound quality is not great with the hosts mics going in and out. Additionally, I have a real pet peeve about podcasters who have mundane chatter for 8-10 minutes about their rides/day before the actual interview starts. I have to fast forward to get through their chatting.
The training buzz segments are pretty useless when you are listening to commentary on a video you can’t see. Sound quality is often an issue.
I am not interested in the interviews but I love the short tips podcasts! Sound is inconsistent and so the podcasts need better production quality.
I want this show to be so much better, but from the sound quality to the content, this feels more like a podcast put together in a person’s basement rather than the professional journalism I’d expect from Dressage Today or Practical Horseman. I hoped that maybe the new host lineup would help things, but in their initial interview with Janet Foy, the sound quality was terrible and no one had edited the different volume levels between interviewer and interviewee, so it sounded like the DT question... more
Thank you for bringing podcasts to the dressage community. I’ve particularly enjoyed the series. Dorothy Schneider was my favourite. However each one gave a “take away” moment to think apply to my own horses and students.
