Grace and Madeline revisit YA fantasy classics in a way that makes you both nostalgic and excited. I always discover new ideas/angles on books I read as a youth, and some new-to-me titles as well. Best Diana Wynne Jones pod out there! đ€
I love listening to these sisters chatting away about books I loved as a child, and also introducing me to new (old) literature. I feel like Iâm the introvert in the corner smiling along and laughing with my friends. Thank you! more
This content, while foreign to me, is refreshing and fascinating! Fun fact, I tried to read red wall as a kid because of a bOy đ but Iâm glad I grew into an adult who turns to people like G&M for input. Thx!
I love Dragon Babies! Grace and Madeline are so delightful. I love revisiting some old favorites and discovering new books long with the show.
One of my new [to me] favorite podcasts! The hosts (sisters) dive into each book in a way that is very relatable, even if Iâm a xennial. My first fantasy exposures were âCare Bears Movie 2: The Next Generationâ, Zilpha Keatley Snyderâs âWitches of Wormâ and âBelow the Rootâ and Hayao Miyazakiâs âNausicaaâ in the 1980s. This podcast has plenty of humor and feeling and I love that they showcase some non-traditional fantasy as well. I love hearing about the really weird or goofy ones.
