Why bury the lede on the form this "reimagining" will take? New setting, Mina and Jonathan are vampire hunters, with Tuffy McTufferson snappy anachronistic Buffy style dialogue.
SpOiLeRs?!? Relax tiger, this is like 6 minutes in of episode one.
But gddmn if i don't feel tricked by omission. Just wear your influences: it's more genuine.
I had to update- expect tons of abusive controlling bad husband cliches.
A riveting and gloriously satisfying adaptation of a classic!
I have been craving more from Gabriel since Wolf 359 (check it out if you haven't already. This story was brilliant, thought provoking, dark, emotional, and compelling at every turn. I can't believe how 4 episodes drew me in so well and kept me captivated until the end. I can't wait to hear more from you.
This is a great adaptation. It’s intimate and thrilling and expertly produced. I especially loved the Renfield performance!
Incredible take on Dracula. Very well written, paced, and performed. Really hope there will be more
I can’t put into words how jaw droppingly thrilling this was and I don’t regret a single second. This is hands down the best short story podcasts I’ve listened to as of late and its twist and turns and ending payoff is stellar ! RUN DONT WALK !
Truly enjoyable you never disappoint, I hope keep creating more unique stories!!!
I enjoyed every second of this podcast. My only complaint is that it’s not longer. Brilliant voice acting and story. Loved it.
To say I listen to a lot of podcasts is a gross understatement. I’m so thrilled to have found this one. It’s well written, well acted. There is not one annoying, ear wrecking voice. It’s simply fabulous!
Please never stop making it, y’all!
And look, I know, this is based on a novel with a beginning and end, but who’s to say that you can’t create something more, something that moves beyond the book’s timeline? Or, maybe Frankenstein next!
Gabriel u saved me from a mental breakdown today with this show. It was my only lifeline to sanity with delayed flights, missed layovers, and creeps during a horrid travel day.
This show was so well done- hooked by the end of the first episode. Incredible acting and writing it was so fun. great story telling I love how things developed
I found this show by sheer chance when my Mom ran into one of the voice actors at a bar and she told me about it. Was ecstatic when I realized it was another Gabriel Urbina work. The first episode is gripping! The voice actors are great, I can’t wait to hear the rest! A wonderful, monster hunter twist on the classic Dracula!
Amazing. Subtle, clever, great acting and writing. I loved it. Thank you all for your beautiful work 💚
Stellar script and voices. Usually not a horror fan, but this one sucked me in. Would recommend.
Articulate, complex characters performed brilliantly by talented actors. The technical work is also great. Seriously, I loved all of it, and I’m a pretty heartless critic.
This is an excellent updating and retelling! Well-thought through with surprising twists and satisfying solutions. Also, incredible acting, and someone should give that sound designer an award. Gabriel always writes good things—give this one a try!
