  • An American Hero

This man is an anchor in the raging river of a broken culture.

Brave in the face of our fallen condition . He invested his entire life to speak with those who sought sanity and balance through a Christian world view.

  • Man of true evil

Few have done as much to corrupt Americans and our political landscape as Dobson. Who studied psychology not to heal but to manipulate his flock. As he crusaded for family values and against homosexuality he beat his dog Sigmund and taught his fans to beat their children and animals. We breathe a sigh of relief upon hearing of his death. Unfortunately too late to stop the destruction he caused.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Avoiding the Traps of Inauthentic Faith, Part 1
Q: Would you like to name some of the ten traps of fake Christianity?
Jed Coppinger outlines ten traits, including neglecting to practice what one preaches, placing higher standards on others than oneself, driven by human attention, and ultimately failing to receive God's mercy, with emphasis on maintaining a servant's heart over a performer's ego.
Man to Man, Part 2
Q: And that masculine healing in that area often occurs in small group settings with other men, isn't that correct?
Yes, true healing tends to happen in intimate, honest fellowship where men can share their wounds and receive support, with the Holy Spirit ministering to them in that context.
TruPlay’s Battle for Christian Values Online, Part 1
Q: Do you recommend an age range, or are they all suitable for children, or how would a parent navigate ahead of time?
Brent explains that TruPlay targets a broad family audience, with content suitable for younger children and older kids, and emphasizes guided viewing by parents; they also highlight that adults often enjoy the games with their kids and that the product focuses on safe, biblically grounded material.
Cultivating Deeper Connections in a Lonely World, Part 1
Q: Could you share some practical steps listeners can take to move beyond loneliness in daily life?
Harling suggests initiating with small, concrete actions like inviting someone for coffee, asking thoughtful questions to hear their story, and intentionally listening rather than dominating the conversation, while also aligning with God's design for community.
Cultivating Deeper Connections in a Lonely World, Part 1
Q: Talk about that.
Becky Harling explains how the combination of fast-paced ministry, travel, and digital life made personal connection scarce, which inspired her to slow down, cultivate humility, and pursue deeper friendships through listening and hospitality.
