My main liking for this podcast is the format you have chosen, that being for a single hour for each podcast. To me, that is a sweetspot for the amount of time I am willing to listen to an actual play for. Trying to listen to 2 to 3 to 4 hours of actual play can be somewhat tedious, regardless of how good the group is. I have a lot of AP's I am subscribed to that are taking me a long time to get around to listen to, purely because they are rrrreeeeaaaallllyyyy lllllooonnnnggggg. I know, IRL, lo... more
It's obvious that a lot of time and effort went into world creation for this game by both the players and the DM, it's interesting to hear them name of street, locations and mention little historical anecdotes just like in a real city, they only detractor is that the release schedule is sporadic.
I've listened to quite a few RPG actual play podcasts over the years, and this one is one of the best. They keep to a regular schedule with few misses, and the episodes are about an hour long. Not that there's anything wrong with 4-hour-long actual plays, but the shorter length helps to break things up. They have another, finished, actual play podcast based on Mongoose Traveller called Close the Airlock. I recommend that one too. Cheers! more
A group of fun characters set into a city of intrigue. Listen as they slog their way throughout the Intercity rivalries and rules of a new system.
Very excited to hear how this story plays out! 5e actual play with an amazing group! Huzzah! They are back!
