  • Stop monopolizing the GUEST’s time

Yikes, Kevin, you spend WAY TOO MUCH TIME talking and not letting THE GUEST, who is the reason we podcast listers are LISTENING, get a word in edgewise. This is an all-too-common pitfall of podcast hosts. Far better: ask good brief questions then shut up and let the GUEST talk.

Q: Can you share a pivotal moment when you had to fight for a project or book a decisive change?

Mark Canton (Producer, Veteran Studio Executive) on Showmanship, Smelling the Circus, and Trusting Your Instincts
Q: How did you land the role at Warner Bros. and what was that early influence like?
A combination of persistence, networking with key figures, and seizing opportunities like Lethal Weapon; Warner Bros. became a proving ground where I learned to assemble powerful teams and craft a winning slate.
Mark Canton (Producer, Veteran Studio Executive) on Showmanship, Smelling the Circus, and Trusting Your Instincts

Q: Where does Ann grow up?
She grew up in Wilbraham, Massachusetts, a suburban, blue-collar town with a diverse immigrant heritage, which helped shape her early work ethic and worldview.
