  • Stop monopolizing the GUEST’s time

Yikes, Kevin, you spend WAY TOO MUCH TIME talking and not letting THE GUEST, who is the reason we podcast listers are LISTENING, get a word in edgewise. This is an all-too-common pitfall of podcast hosts. Far better: ask good brief questions then shut up and let the GUEST talk.

  • So, so good…

I love these interviews. I love Kevin. He knows this business and has a wealth of information yet remains genuinely fascinated by it. I’m instantly engaged by his curiosity and charm. He’s open and earnest and respectful but dives deep. And you know these are friends. Feels like eavesdropping on a really great dinner conversation.
