近年來，台灣與韓國的國際移工議題備受關注，特別是2025年12月7日在台北舉行的移工大遊行，逾千人參與，從勞動部遊行至立法院，高喊廢除藍領移工工作年限（台灣最多12-14年，視行業而定）。這一運動源自移工長期面臨的制度性歧視：藍領移工被視為「暫時勞力」，年限屆滿須離境，導致許多人轉為非法身分，繼續貢獻卻無保障。
