SPECIAL SERIES ==> 🚨 Your Preheader Is About To Be Hijacked <== | BATHROOM Break #124 COLLAB: The Marketing Millennials + Do This, Not That
Q: I have a question.
The host explains that the open rate game is shifting due to AI-driven summaries and emphasizes the need to craft concise, high-value first lines and ensure the pre-header aligns with the core message.
SPECIAL SERIES ==> 🪦 The Email Rule Everyone Swore Was Right Is Dead <== | BATHROOM Break #122 COLLAB: The Marketing Millennials + Do This, Not That
Q: Why do you think double opt-in has become less effective for marketers today?
Because a significant share of signups never complete the second step, resulting in wasted leads and higher perceived friction, while privacy concerns encourage users to report if they feel overwhelmed by emails.
SPECIAL GUEST!! 🤖 ChatGPT: Easy Steps to Show Up Answers! Ross Simmonds | Ep. 557
Q: If I gave you like three hours tomorrow morning and said, make my company more likely to show up in ChatGPT, in Gemini, in Perplexity, in Quad, what would you do if you had a limited amount of time?
Ross outlines a rapid, data‑driven playbook: connect Claude to data tools to pull bottom‑of‑funnel insights, identify gaps versus competitors, generate content ideas to fill those gaps, create landing pages, draft messy first drafts for quick human refinement, publish on YouTube, embed videos into pages, and repurpose content into LinkedIn articles, Reddit posts, and other channels in a tightly timed sequence.
SPECIAL GUEST!! #1 AI AUTHOR! Geoff Woods 🤯 You're Prompting AI Wrong | Ep. 551
Q: What do you say to people who are nervous about sharing sensitive information with AI?
Educate them about data training options and the distinction between training on data versus using it as a standard tool. You can choose not to train on data and instead use off-the-shelf or enterprise solutions with strong privacy controls, which balances risk and reward while enabling powerful thought-partner capabilities.
SPECIAL GUEST!! #1 AI AUTHOR! Geoff Woods 🤯 You're Prompting AI Wrong | Ep. 551
Q: So what exactly is CRIT and how should someone start using it to get AI to work for them in a practical two-foot level?
CRIT is a four-part prompting framework: provide Context about the situation, assign a clear Roll or role to the AI, use an Interview where the AI asks you questions to surface deeper context, and then define a Task for the AI to execute. This sequence helps you extract high-impact insights and create actionable outputs, moving beyond generic content generation to strategic problem solving.
