Love night prayers pax Patrick
I found this podcast a week ago and am enjoying it very much. I wanted to try to pray more and more consistently. Being able to hear the night prayers and read them at the same time feels like I am praying with the whole church / the whole body of Christ and therefore means more than just praying by myself. It is a good way for me to jumpstart my regular prayer.
This podcast was really supporting me last year, but now it is not so good. Why Invitatory issues are being downloaded in the Night Prayer podcast INSTEAD of the Night Prayer issues? And where are the other Divine Office podcasts, such as Midday and Evening Prayer? I cannot find them using my Podcasts App. Please fix.
For nearly a year I was excited to have the daily Podcast from Divine Office - it was FIVE STARS - but recently they have taken nearly everything down and simply offer only one prayer per day - usually either Compline or the Invitatory. I am saddened by this! I pray that they will return to offering all of the Hours via podcast. This is a really lovely service that this group provides. The prayers themselves are worth 5 stars. I just wish they updated iTunes more consistently. For example, as I write this (2/18/2013 at 1403 EST) there are NO Compline podcasts available. NONE. If you want to get into the rhythm of saying these prayers, it's nearly impossible because of the spotty update schedule.
