How Firms, Educators, and Tech Are Closing the Construction Skills Gap Together
Q: Could you start us off by explaining this partnership that I just alluded to with Wake Tech and how that's impacted your team at Kimley-Horn?

Why the Future of Preconstruction is Brighter Than Ever
Q: What do you think the next 5 to 10 years look like for folks in these seats?
It's going to be more about providing value through various means, not just the bottom line number as price changes occur.
Why the Future of Preconstruction is Brighter Than Ever
Q: How can we keep training and mentoring these folks, especially when a lot of the work that the junior folks traditionally did is either already or will very soon be automated?
By taking tedious tasks off their plate, their role becomes more strategic, allowing them to learn the project more effectively.
Building Community Connections in Construction
Q: What advice would you give to others out there listening who want to deepen the connection that their company has to the local community?
I would say research. There are many ways to get involved, such as volunteering and engaging with nonprofits. Being intentional about what you want to accomplish is essential.
