  • Editing

This is a super interesting podcast but I can’t listen to it because they have edited all the “white space” out. The editors have removed all pauses and breaths to the point where the conversation doesn’t sound natural and in fact feels disorienting. Please just record the conversation and let us listen to it!

Why AI, MCPs and the Design and Make Marketplace Took Center Stage at DevCon 2026
Q: Can you explain what DevCon is and why it matters to attendees beyond the hype?

What’s Next for Construction Tech?
Q: From your perspective, how has the AI moment changed how contractors think about adopting or building technology?
AI is becoming table stakes and ubiquitous; it accelerates learning curves, enables more ambitious design and planning, and helps structure data, but adoption should still be guided by practical needs, security concerns, and the ability to scale with enterprise-grade reliability.
The Eternal Beginner Problem in Construction
Q: What drives you to write these children's books and how did they come to life?
Andrew explains that he wrote both books with his kids to address the industry's invisibility of pre-construction work, aiming to elevate and make the work understood and valued by families and clients alike. The books emerged from observing customer feedback and a desire to make planning and delivery concepts accessible and engaging for a broader audience.
