Also, providing background of how each actor got his/her part(s) and portrayed the character even within a... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

389: Bill Nye ("Himself")
Q: How true is the idea that 'where there's water, there's life' and what does that mean for exploring other worlds?
The presence of water is a strong indicator of potential life or prebiotic conditions, and Nye discusses how discoveries about oceans on moons and exoplanets fuel interest in astrobiology while underscoring that life may exist in forms we have yet to recognize; exploration of Mars, Europa, and exoplanets keeps expanding our understanding of where life could exist.
389: Bill Nye ("Himself")
Q: What is happening in science today that you think everyone should be paying attention to?
Nye highlights artificial intelligence as a major transformative force, with its most profound potential in designing crops and improving agricultural resilience, followed by fusion energy as a pathway to a powerful, controllable energy source that could reshape global infrastructure.
387: Martin Gero (Creator of the next Stargate Series)
Q: How long does a production like this take from writers' room to air?
They estimate about two years from starting the writers' room to air, with considerable time spent on pre-production, VFX planning, and localization for global release.
382: Kelly Vint Part 2 ("Young Catherine Langford")
Q: What do you think they were planning on doing with the other two movies?
She suggests there was talk of a trilogy and that the revival makes that possibility feel more tangible, underscoring that the Stargate universe could be expanded without diminishing what came before.
382: Kelly Vint Part 2 ("Young Catherine Langford")
Q: So what comes next do you think?
Kelly expresses hopeful speculation about the show birthing new projects and possibly reviving more elements of the Stargate universe, including the Dean/Roland/Brad Wright collaboration and potential extensions to the original material.
