  • Inspiring and Fun for Runners and Entrepreneurs

I’ve been listening to Borderlands for about 18 months, and it was the first podcast I really got into when I started running. Josh’s perspective is refreshing—he makes running feel approachable while mixing in thoughtful business takes that I find both interesting and relatable as a tech entrepreneur. The episodes are fun and relaxing, and Josh’s great attitude keeps me inspired to challenge myself without taking things too seriously. As someone in my late 30s, it feels like his journey lines u... more

  • Hard Pass

Tried giving this podcast a shot a few times, but apparently self-awareness isn’t part of their training plan. At one point they actually said climate change is a hoax. Imagine being that out of breath and out of touch. Whatever you think about UTMB’s climate efforts, denying climate change is hands down the ultimate Bad Runners Take. Maybe before hitting “record,” they should try reading the room — or at least a science book.

  • Original take on running and running culture

Borderlands has a unique takes on trail running. They don’t just concentrate on the elites (although they have superb interviews). I enjoy the coverage of great design, fashion and running culture. They have really passionate discussions on races from the US, Europe and further afield.

They’re 100% in the corner of “The 95”. Give it a try and you’ll be hooked.

Started out good, but quickly went downhill after they started cramming in content. Save us from having to constantly skip episodes by just publishing Bad Runner’s Take and Wolfie’s World as separate podcasts.

It started with curiosity and commitment, but now it has become how I see it impacts others and the encouragement from friends to tackle long distances.

TOR is totally different in many ways; it has multiple races and a community that deeply connects with it, unlike the more elite focus of UTMB.
