  • Fact based and to the point!

I have been a listener since episode 1! Derrick lays out all the facts of a case. Gives his real life experience in the field as to where the investigation may have gone wrong, right or could have been done differently.

The case of Sara Graham in Robeson county, NC needs an update….her stepmother and 2 stepbrothers have recently been charged!!

  • Love the Advocacy

This is my new favorite true crime podcast. I try to only listen to True Crime that serves a purpose. Derrick does that in this podcast by only taking on unsolved crimes and taking you through them and sharing his perspective. I also really appreciate that he takes the time to talk about why victims of domestic violence don’t leave relationships and really examines and explains complex relationships to the listener.

  • Amazing

An amazing true crime podcast. Derrick is knowledgeable, empathic, thorough, and precise. He doesn’t use drama and is matter of fact without being cold. His knowledge as a former detective and current private investigator is gold; something that I’ve not seen thus far (and I listen to A LOT of true crime podcasts). You can just Derrick as he lays out the evidence based on his knowledge and how he is clear and concise. More people NEED to hear this podcast. I think there will be a less missing an... more

As someone who works in transportation - the reefer (refrigerated trailer) to go to Florida with makes sense. Biggest export from FL is produce… trailers don’t have airflow and get very hot (think your car without ac) and when you are grabbing the loads that pay (higher mileage) no one will send produce in a trailer that doesn’t have a reefer unit and no one would receive produce that is likely spoiled.

Not suspicious that neighbour took a reefer to Florida… hella sus he packed up and moved to ... more

  • Ethical True Crime

No frills, no bs, just the facts and an opinion based on knowledge. Derrick does a good job and not only cares about the vics, but offers ways to actually solve them. Definitely worth your time.
