This podcast is SO incredibly important. This perspective is more than a True Crime podcast. I really appreciate the knowledge I get by listening to Derrick. As a member of law enforcement, he is in the unique position of giving his listeners the added value of learning about these incredibly sad stories; but by sharing the way law enforcement deals with these situations, it gives me hope that all is not lost for these families and hopefully giving us the potential power to help with a solution.... more
Thank you for the trigger warning for miscarriage last year. I had lost my son and skipped the trigger warning episode the next week. Happened in 2024 and have wanted to leave my appreciation since. Means a lot. You never know what someone is going through. Great show and great host. Thank you Derrick. 🙏
Today is a day I wish I had backup. Lost my brother and sister to an overdose of heroin. Thank you being my family - you are without knowing...thank you for keeping so many of us going.
When I first started listening I was a little bit apprehensive of course because none of the cases he covers are solved but I quickly realize that those families are the ones that need us the most. The way Derrick talks about victims with so much respect and his story telling is so good man! I would highly recommend listening to him.
Halfway through, I cannot stop seeing Abe Lincoln as the suspect. Tall guy with a long black coat and stops pipe hat? It’s him, or frosty the snowman.
