I saw a reel on social media about one of the shows and sounded interesting. During a morning workout, I put on an episode and 30 mins into it...all I know is the guy died and he was believed to have been poisoned. The 29 other mins were just back and forth blabbering, going off topic, random personal stories ect. I could not finish listening to the terrible story telling. In less than a minute, I searched the incident and read what happened.
Why are you acting like you don’t know what the Apple TV show “Your Friends & Neighbors” is called? You guys have gotten less true crime and more gossip so to call out that show seems hypocritical and unaware. Like you guys but you need to bring the quality up.
I love your content but I have a hard time with the strong language. I understand I have a choice to not listen but I genuinely enjoy what you talk about. Everytime an f-bomb is said it makes me not want to listen.
I love Kendall and her podcast so much, I naturally ventured to Mile Higher to consume more of her content. But this one isn’t good. Although it’s gotten a little more tolerable in recent episodes, it still is just lacking. They spend time yapping with each other and there’s too many people involved. It’s ridiculous. Also the ads are insane. 10 minute long ad breaks is unbelievable for a mediocre podcast. I’ll just stick to TCKR.
You can tell they aren’t involved in writing the scripts or editing the podcast anymore. Their whole company is full of friends and family instead of actual researchers, writers and editors. I’ve never seen a podcast that has so much random input from producers too
Episodes will just have random memes, videos and they’ll make jokes that feel insensitive. The episode on the IRA had a gif of a car bomb going off and their editor left a distasteful comment in the video about the British not ownin... more

This show centers on true crime, conspiracy, and fringe topics, blending rigorous case breakdowns with wide-ranging banter and curiosity about unexplained phenomena. Episodes frequently mix in historical context, cultural commentary, and sponsor reads, creating a popular space for listeners who enjoy deep dives that also feel like casual conversations among fans. Notable strengths include its energetic host dynamic and willingness to tackle both classic cases and speculative ideas, though audience feedback often calls for tighter focus during lengthy banter and ad breaks that interrupt storytelling.
