Disappointing to hear podcasters continue to use "committed su*cide" and "prost*tute" when not quoting law or news articles. That language was outdated years before this podcast started. You know better. And if podcasters are going to profit off of this, it's their responsibility to minimize harm with language. I expected better from this group of podcasters, especially given charitable works and other shows.
Decent pod but I really wish the narrator would learn how to pronounce the names and places properly. And to say a victim was bitten “on the Burt heel” after being violently raped and murdered made me cringe and was very disrespectful. True crime creators really need to remember that they are dealing with real people with real families etc. Keep it respectful or I just can’t take you serious. Other than that, pretty good.
Lights out team is not only accurate but honest. I have been listening since 2023! And I truly appreciate the research that goes into these episodes!
