    Jan 16, 2026 - Iran

I just listened to Dr. Marandi talk about the Iranian protest, on Al Jazeera news. If I heard correctly, he was saying that mossad, the Israeli intelligence, is the one causing the problem in Iran, and that most Iranians support their government.

IF that’s true, I hope your reporting will reflect that

Also, in relation to Trump’s first election, I understand that Russia gate was really made up to discredit tRump; and it was started by Hillary Clinton. IF that’s true, I hop... more

  • Shameless

From anti-imperial journalism, to compatible “left”, to complete propagandist!

Millions Iranians are marching against foreign-backed (we all know which ones) rioters, who killed hundreds police and civilians, and destroyed neighbors and mosques. Pompeo openly admitted it.

Yet somehow this is all turned upside down into a narrative that better fit the official agenda. It’s like the Maidan 2.0.

  • Misinformation

Cherry picked information on a platter for autocratic anti-American regimes of all stripes to add to their propaganda. Amy loves to feature guests with ties to terrorists, like right after 10/7, a guest who said “we are all Hamas”. Leftists are the most naive people in the country and would watch it burn to satisfy their savior/guilt complex. Grew up listening to and watching this communist propaganda, now I know the truth. Never again. Antisemitic garbage.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Democracy Now! 2026-09-01 Tuesday
Q: Francisco Rodríguez, what makes this 100-year concession so controversial in the Venezuelan context?
Rodríguez explains that it breaks historical norms, lacks formal approval by Venezuela's National Assembly, and could entail transferring significant oil output to the United States at little or no cost, which may undermine Venezuela's sovereignty and economic interests.
Democracy Now! 2026-08-27 Thursday
Q: What role do data workers play in AI, and why is their labor important to understand in this debate?
Data workers are the hidden backbone of AI, providing the data labeling, moderation, and training necessary for models to function; their work is often low paid, precarious, and conducted under opaque conditions that deserve recognition and protection.
Democracy Now! 2026-08-27 Thursday
Q: How should governments regulate AI and platforms to prevent ongoing harms, beyond fines?
We need rules of the road that tackle the business model itself, not just penalties after harms occur, including governance around data flows, transparency, and accountability for how AI systems are trained and deployed.
Democracy Now! 2026-08-27 Thursday
Q: Amba, could you explain the significance of Meta's settlement and what it signals for the broader tech industry?
The settlement is meaningful as a financial marker and a prompt for design fixes, but it won't by itself fix the root causes; meaningful change requires addressing the underlying business model—surveillance advertising—and implementing rules that curb harmful designs.
Democracy Now! 2026-09-03 Thursday
Q: What are the main risks of deploying AI in critical medical decision-making without sufficient controls?
Risks include over-reliance on AI for diagnosis or treatment choices, potential errors in complex cases like dense breast tissue, and the need for radiologists to retain final decision-making authority to ensure safety and accountability.
