    Jan 16, 2026 - Iran

I just listened to Dr. Marandi talk about the Iranian protest, on Al Jazeera news. If I heard correctly, he was saying that mossad, the Israeli intelligence, is the one causing the problem in Iran, and that most Iranians support their government.

IF that’s true, I hope your reporting will reflect that

Also, in relation to Trump’s first election, I understand that Russia gate was really made up to discredit tRump; and it was started by Hillary Clinton. IF that’s true, I hop... more

  • Shameless

From anti-imperial journalism, to compatible “left”, to complete propagandist!

Millions Iranians are marching against foreign-backed (we all know which ones) rioters, who killed hundreds police and civilians, and destroyed neighbors and mosques. Pompeo openly admitted it.

Yet somehow this is all turned upside down into a narrative that better fit the official agenda. It’s like the Maidan 2.0.

  • Misinformation

Cherry picked information on a platter for autocratic anti-American regimes of all stripes to add to their propaganda. Amy loves to feature guests with ties to terrorists, like right after 10/7, a guest who said “we are all Hamas”. Leftists are the most naive people in the country and would watch it burn to satisfy their savior/guilt complex. Grew up listening to and watching this communist propaganda, now I know the truth. Never again. Antisemitic garbage.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Democracy Now! 2026-04-09 Thursday
Q: Can you lay out your argument, why you believe the war is turning Iran into a major world power?
Pape argues that Iran gains durable leverage from controlling Hormuz and leveraging geography; with drone and mining capabilities, Iran can threaten major shipping while avoiding full-scale war, pushing regional powers to realign and potentially elevating Iran to a fourth major power alongside the US, China, and Russia.
Democracy Now! 2026-04-07 Tuesday
Q: What are the domestic implications in the U.S. of the $1.5 trillion budget in terms of social programs?
The extra funding for militarization could come at the expense of education, healthcare, and climate initiatives, raising concerns about moral and legal implications.
Democracy Now! 2026-04-07 Tuesday
Q: How does Iran view deterrence and its role after a potential war?
Iran aims to rebuild deterrence and reestablish constructive economic relations with European and regional partners, viewing Hormuz as a long-term lever rather than a temporary tactic.
Democracy Now! 2026-04-10 Friday
Q: What's happening with the Lebanon-Israel talks and Lebanon's role in the ceasefire negotiations?
Rania Abouzade explains that Lebanon seeks to negotiate its own terms and not be treated as a mere instrument in regional deals, while the Lebanese leadership tries to navigate sovereignty, domestic factions, and external pressures from Iran and Israel.
Democracy Now! 2026-04-03 Friday
Q: Can you talk about Pam Bondi's legacy at the DOJ?
David Cole provides a critical assessment, arguing Bondi turned the DOJ toward partisan ends, sidelined independent operations, and failed to resist presidential pressure, thereby undermining the department's credibility and civil rights protections.
