    Jan 16, 2026 - Iran

I just listened to Dr. Marandi talk about the Iranian protest, on Al Jazeera news. If I heard correctly, he was saying that mossad, the Israeli intelligence, is the one causing the problem in Iran, and that most Iranians support their government.

IF that’s true, I hope your reporting will reflect that

Also, in relation to Trump’s first election, I understand that Russia gate was really made up to discredit tRump; and it was started by Hillary Clinton. IF that’s true, I hop... more

  • Shameless

From anti-imperial journalism, to compatible “left”, to complete propagandist!

Millions Iranians are marching against foreign-backed (we all know which ones) rioters, who killed hundreds police and civilians, and destroyed neighbors and mosques. Pompeo openly admitted it.

Yet somehow this is all turned upside down into a narrative that better fit the official agenda. It’s like the Maidan 2.0.

  • Misinformation

Cherry picked information on a platter for autocratic anti-American regimes of all stripes to add to their propaganda. Amy loves to feature guests with ties to terrorists, like right after 10/7, a guest who said “we are all Hamas”. Leftists are the most naive people in the country and would watch it burn to satisfy their savior/guilt complex. Grew up listening to and watching this communist propaganda, now I know the truth. Never again. Antisemitic garbage.

"Broadview 6" Defendants Kat Abughazaleh & Michael Rabbitt on ICE Protest & Prosecutorial Misconduct
Q: Explain why you went out that day to the protest and what happened to you from that moment on.
We showed up to stand with immigrants, inspired by Know Your Rights trainings and community organizing; the moment the vehicle drove through the crowd marked a turning point that led to legal jeopardy and months of court appearances.
"Broadview 6" Defendants Kat Abughazaleh & Michael Rabbitt on ICE Protest & Prosecutorial Misconduct
Q: So then explain what happened that day. Where were you when the ICE agent drove his car?
We were doing the Jericho Walk, a peaceful protest, when an ICE vehicle drove through the crowd; the incident stood out because ICE had a history of aggressive tactics, and the crowd was mobilized in solidarity.
Democracy Now! 2026-06-01 Monday
Q: What are the broader implications of the private-prison financing network for immigration policy?
Financing by banks like Citizens Bank sustains for-profit detention systems; disentangling these financial ties is crucial to curtail expansion of private detention and ensure humane treatment of detainees.
Democracy Now! 2026-06-01 Monday
Q: Julie, what is this Citizens Bank campaign about and why is your personal decision to close your accounts significant?
The campaign centers on Citizens Bank financing GEO Group and CoreCivic, the operators of Delaney Hall and other ICE detention facilities; closing accounts is a way to use financial leverage to pressure the bank to exit the private detention business.
Democracy Now! 2026-05-27 Wednesday
Q: What does the detainee facilities situation reveal about privatization and accountability?
Gabriela Soto and Lee Adorno describe how private detention like Delaney Hall concentrates power with for‑profit operators, undermining transparency and accountability, and placing families at risk.
