    Jan 16, 2026 - Iran

I just listened to Dr. Marandi talk about the Iranian protest, on Al Jazeera news. If I heard correctly, he was saying that mossad, the Israeli intelligence, is the one causing the problem in Iran, and that most Iranians support their government.

IF that’s true, I hope your reporting will reflect that

Also, in relation to Trump’s first election, I understand that Russia gate was really made up to discredit tRump; and it was started by Hillary Clinton. IF that’s true, I hop... more

  • Shameless

From anti-imperial journalism, to compatible “left”, to complete propagandist!

Millions Iranians are marching against foreign-backed (we all know which ones) rioters, who killed hundreds police and civilians, and destroyed neighbors and mosques. Pompeo openly admitted it.

Yet somehow this is all turned upside down into a narrative that better fit the official agenda. It’s like the Maidan 2.0.

  • Misinformation

Cherry picked information on a platter for autocratic anti-American regimes of all stripes to add to their propaganda. Amy loves to feature guests with ties to terrorists, like right after 10/7, a guest who said “we are all Hamas”. Leftists are the most naive people in the country and would watch it burn to satisfy their savior/guilt complex. Grew up listening to and watching this communist propaganda, now I know the truth. Never again. Antisemitic garbage.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Democracy Now! 2026-06-26 Friday
Q: What is the significance of the Supreme Court decision on asylum at the border?
The guests explain that the decision narrows access to asylum by tying it to the narrow interpretation of arrival and could increase danger or death for those seeking protection, while emphasizing that the policy changes have long-term humanitarian and legal consequences.
Democracy Now! 2026-06-30 Tuesday
Q: How does First America challenge conventional origin stories for today's democracy?
Nagel explains that by tracing legal doctrines and empire-building alongside settler narratives, the series reveals how democracy and empire coexisted, undermining the belief that American democracy emerged purely from Enlightenment principles.
Democracy Now! 2026-06-30 Tuesday
Q: Rebecca, can you explain how the merciless Indian savages line reframes the narrative of the American Revolution?
Nagel contends that the last grievance in the Declaration exposes a colonial hostility toward Native nations, and that mainstream history has minimized this to preserve a narrative of liberty, masking ongoing violence and dispossession.
Democracy Now! 2026-06-23 Tuesday
Q: What did Sharif Abdel-Kaduz describe about the targeting of journalists in Gaza and Lebanon?
He explained that journalists are being deliberately targeted, with cases of assassinations and deliberate obstructions, and that Israeli practices in Gaza are being exported to Lebanon, leading to mass displacement and intense pressure on news reporting.
Democracy Now! 2026-06-24 Wednesday
Q: Welcome to Democracy Now! If you could start off by introducing yourself to the country.
Daria Avila Chevalier introduces herself as Afro-Latina, daughter of immigrants, organizer focused on immigration justice, ending mass incarceration, and centering working people in Harlem and Washington Heights; she emphasizes housing, ICE abolition, and reinvestment in babies and communities.
