    Jan 16, 2026 - Iran

I just listened to Dr. Marandi talk about the Iranian protest, on Al Jazeera news. If I heard correctly, he was saying that mossad, the Israeli intelligence, is the one causing the problem in Iran, and that most Iranians support their government.

IF that’s true, I hope your reporting will reflect that

Also, in relation to Trump’s first election, I understand that Russia gate was really made up to discredit tRump; and it was started by Hillary Clinton. IF that’s true, I hop... more

  • Shameless

From anti-imperial journalism, to compatible “left”, to complete propagandist!

Millions Iranians are marching against foreign-backed (we all know which ones) rioters, who killed hundreds police and civilians, and destroyed neighbors and mosques. Pompeo openly admitted it.

Yet somehow this is all turned upside down into a narrative that better fit the official agenda. It’s like the Maidan 2.0.

  • Misinformation

Cherry picked information on a platter for autocratic anti-American regimes of all stripes to add to their propaganda. Amy loves to feature guests with ties to terrorists, like right after 10/7, a guest who said “we are all Hamas”. Leftists are the most naive people in the country and would watch it burn to satisfy their savior/guilt complex. Grew up listening to and watching this communist propaganda, now I know the truth. Never again. Antisemitic garbage.

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Democracy Now! 2026-05-12 Tuesday
Q: What is at stake with the Supreme Court's decision on the Voting Rights Act, and how does it affect the Deep South?
The decision is framed as a turning point that threatens decades of progress toward Black voters' equal opportunity, particularly by enabling redistricting that dilutes minority representation and undermines protections in southern states.
Democracy Now! 2026-05-15 Friday
Q: Gideon Levy, how is Israeli society responding to the New York Times reporting on sexual violence and the defamation threat against the Times?
Levy notes a defensive stance in Israeli society, with authorities and media pushing back against the Times while internal institutions have not spoken out forcefully against documented abuses, implying a broader societal desensitization to violence.
Democracy Now! 2026-05-15 Friday
Q: What are the main criticisms of the Trump disarmament framework and its impact on Palestinian factions?
Bartov/guest discuss that the framework demanded complete disarmament as a precondition to peace, which Hamas rejected, arguing that security guarantees and statehood should be the conditions rather than weapon destruction first.
Democracy Now! 2026-05-15 Friday
Q: Mohammed Shahada, can you talk about the significance of Nakba Day and what Gaza's current situation reveals about long-term displacement?
Shahada describes Nakba Day as a continuous ongoing process of displacement and erasure, not a single event, emphasizing that Palestinians still live under occupation and that displacement remains central to their lived experience.
Democracy Now! 2026-05-08 Friday
Q: How does the eight-state probe relate to broader questions about federalizing elections and safeguarding or compromising state election processes?
The piece shows a multifaceted effort by the federal government to test and extend its reach into state and local election administration, through raids, official inquiries, and lobbying, pointing to a top-down push that could redefine how elections are managed while highlighting concerns about the preservation of state sovereignty and the integrity of the electoral system.
