We explore outside of the city limits, too, from down the Jersey shore to Pennsylvania Dutch country and e... more

Taryn is a hoot. She has been around. Miss her on NBCSP.
Chickie’s and Pete’s in Sahara Las Vegas is pretty cool.
I booked a table at Emilia, booked an omakaze experience with chef Kevin Yanaga at 637 Philly Sushi Club, and bought Pizza Freak’s frozen pizza from Weaver’s co-op in Ambler…over the span of just a couple of months in 2026…all direct consequences of being an avid listener of Delicious City Podcast! I mentioned to chef Kevin Yanaga that I found out about his omakaze experience from this podcast and I can confirm that he loves you guys!
I’m a long time listener to the podcast. In each episode I learn something new about the Philadelphia food scene and its chef’s and bartenders. I enjoy the perspective of each host on what they enjoy to eat and drink and where. I booked many a great dinner/event after listening.
Beyond being informative and quite relative to the restaurant and food scene in Philly; Eli ,Dave and Marissa seem to have so much fun with one another on the show. It is a very casual laid-back platform and I’m glad it is transcribed because you can take notes and go to all the great places they mentioned. They have really created a great little community.
I am always excited to hear the latest. The interviewers are always on point sharing new things to try. The humor and commentary are genuine.
The sound goes high and low and high again. I am always adjusting my volume to listen. Not sure if that is a podcast issue or the Apple podcast download settings.
