  • An entertaining & informative RE Podcast!

I find myself growing tired over many of the real estate podcasts that are out there. This one, however, is not one of those mundane shows. The hosts are relatable and give so much great advice that can be backed up through lived experience. This will definitely be a podcast I follow.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Episode 244: Erik Nielsen Becomes The Interviewer
Q: How do you approach scaling a real estate portfolio while staying true to your values?
Start small, learn each step, surround yourself with people who have done bigger things, and systematically increase deal size as you gain competence and confidence.
Episode 244: Erik Nielsen Becomes The Interviewer
Q: What motivates you to keep building and giving away money?
A belief in reducing suffering and using wealth to empower others, starting with personal responsibility and extending into family and community.
Episode 245: Tom Cruz
Q: If you were starting from zero today, how long would it take you to hit 10K per month in cash flow?
About 18 months, with a path that would likely start with wholesaling to build a bankroll, then seller-finance deals and eventually leverage partnerships to scale.
Episode 245: Tom Cruz
Q: So how many deals did you have to look at to find one that met your criteria back then?
Back then it was very deal-scarce and I screened many properties; roughly 40 deals per one under contract, mainly due to condition and the reluctance to remodel.
Episode 231: Katie Neason on Redevelopment, Main Street Investing & Building Better Cities
Q: What role does her education platform play besides marketing?
The platform began as a way to answer questions from aspiring developers and to document processes, which naturally evolved into coaching programs for niche, small-scale developers. It serves both as a knowledge-sharing resource and a practical means to help others execute similar infill projects, while also enabling Katie to connect with potential collaborators and investors who share her vision.
