  • I don’t write many reviews, but I’m too team Nancy to not.

It’s all just perfect. I just wish there were more episodes. This podcast has fantastic background music and narration, not to mention pitch perfect topics. I love the film episodes especially. She has a flare for “personability.” It’s like she’s on speaker phone talking to me whilst I prepare to slumber, keeping me on the edge of my bed, yet lulling me to sleep. Please don’t stop. I just subscribed and look forward to a long and fruitful relationship.

  • Excellent Pod

This quickly has became my favorite podcast. The stories are fascinating but not gory. The host has a wonderful voice and the pod is so well-produced it’s a pleasure to listen to. It has none of the annoying banter between multiple people or the salacious quality of so many other true crime & mystery pods that feel disrespectful to victims and their families.

  • My sentiments exactly

Dead Sleep caters to my preference for straight narrative without frantic 911 calls, tinny recorded interviews or detailed descriptions of violence and gore. Good tc podcast! But I’d prefer less volume on the background music. (Casefile’s music volume seems just right.)

  • Great for true crime lovers

I really appreciate everything that this podcast is. It's perfect to fall asleep to. No scratchy, loud 911 calls & police interview recordings, no ads! I will say, there's a few episodes with loud siren/bell/phone/alarm sound effects that have kind of annoyed me, or really loud/fast-paced background music - I feel like those are unnecessary, or at least not as pleasant as the parts with slower/softer music in the background, or beach wave sound effects that have been played in some episodes.
