  • Sugar Bowl recap

Brandon, I listen to a lot of UGA pods but your synopsis at the beginning of the Sugar Bowl recap episode was absolutely spot on! A squandered opportunity to say the least and it scares me that they could get out played and, especially, out coached by a staff and team w so much uncertainty and turmoil. Unfortunately, it made Kirby look a little amateur in my opinion. Mind blowing to squander a lead like that and then look so “desperate” as you said. Very disappointing!

Anyway, I’ve been a long... more

  • DGD and Analyst

I never thought I would need year-round coverage of Georgia football, but apparently I do. BA is the man. Obviously he’s a fan, and his energy fuels the show, you can hear it in his voice. But he can be objective when the occasion calls for it. I look forward to this broadcast every. Single. Day.

  • Farewell DawgNation

BA, Jeff…it’s been awesome! But sadly have to go, this has been a great show but no longer like the guest speakers of the show, I enjoyed much more when it was Chip, Seth, Jeff 2xs, and AA Mike Johnson. Hopefully in a few years I’ll download again to see if there has been any changes!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Episode 2735: Will UGA be held back by 'lack of threats' on offense?
Q: Mike, how fair do you think all of that is?
Mike Griffith explains that losing Zachariah Branch creates natural production gaps, but he emphasizes the strength of the offensive line and run game as foundations to support the passing game and explosive plays.
Episode 2730: Kirby Smart reveals private message to UGA baseball at College World Series
Q: How did the Diamond Dawgs manage to stay competitive in a must-win four-game stretch?
By leaning on a supportive coaching approach that emphasizes letting players be themselves, maintaining composure, and trusting the process, while key players stepped up at pivotal moments.
Episode 2718: Recapping a wild weekend for UGA
Q: What is your take on Tre Phelps's ejection and the surrounding controversy?
I believe Tre's actions were within the realm of competitive celebration, and the umpire's decision seems overstated when considering the overall context and the absence of a clear statement on what was said. The key is to acknowledge the passion in college baseball while recognizing the line that should not be crossed, and in this case the reaction has seemed disproportionate given the facts discussed.
Episode 2719: UGA fans celebrate 'cornerstone' commitment for 2027 class
Q: What do you make of Gouda's commitment and the shifting recruiting landscape?
The panel sees Gouda as a cornerstone piece that could signal a broader change in Georgia's approach, with the team embracing a broader mix of stars and undervalued players while evaluating NIL and transfer dynamics as part of long-term strategy.
Episode 2702: UGA gets big compliment from unlikely source
Q: Did you ever get much chance to pay attention to Starling, and how big of a loss do you think this might be for Georgia?
Terrence Edwards outlines that Starling's decommitment is not shocking in the current climate, emphasizes the uncertainties of recruiting, and notes that Georgia often moves forward with other targets while staying mindful of the depth chart.
