在大學期間接觸正念後，孟修慢慢發現，自己不只是更能專注於當下，也開始能夠更穩定的面對生活中的壓力與情緒。
透過一次做一件事、三口呼吸、呼吸觀察等練習，他逐漸培養出對身心狀態的覺察，也學會在情緒升起時，留給自己一點緩衝與空間。
除此之外，持續的正念練習，也讓他慢慢感受到內在的穩定感。即使面對不如意的事情，依然能夠覺察自己的反應，並回到當下，好好的照顧自己。
