Which version of the Bible is used in these readings? Today’s New Testament reading follows the ESV, but the Psalm and Old Testament reading do not.
These podcasts are now a daily routine for me. I bought a Bible I am so inspired by these readings.
As a homeschool mom, I really appreciate how simple and consistent this podcast is. Once the morning calms down, I turn this on to start our school day or we listen in the car.
Helpful resource. I greatly appreciate Corey’s reading of Scripture and the Lutheran confessions. His delivery is clear, while his tone is calm and pleasant allowing the Truth of God’s Word always to shine through. Kudos Corey for all you are doing to recover what has been lost and revive our ancient faith. Be blessed in the name of Jesus Christ Our Lord and Savior!
Wonderful podcast, Corey has a great voice, and I love the readings. So glad I found this and Stone Choir!!
Minor suggestion-if the intro/outro music could be a little lower in volume?

A daily devotional series pairs scripture readings from the Psalter, Old and New Testament with liturgical elements and catechetical reflections. Each episode weaves Psalms, biblical narratives (notably Samuel and Acts), and confessional texts like the Augsburg Confession, finished with the Lord's Prayer and a blessing. The format is calm, consistently structured for personal devotion, classroom use, or family study, with a strong Lutheran confessional focus that may appeal to listeners seeking devotional reliability, liturgical cadence, and spiritual formation. Noteworthy traits include evergreen, scripture-centered content delivered by a steady host duo, and a clear emphasis on prayer, deliverance, and faith practice in daily life.
