It was the clever podcast title that first got my attention. But I stayed because, even when it’s someone I’ve heard of before, I get new-to-me facts and a different perspective. And while I wasn’t sure I’d enjoy a podcast that seemed so Philly-centric (I’m in SoCal), those little asides turn out to be the fun cherries on top of interesting history info sundaes.
Fayge and Mazal are such good hosts. They really did their homework and came prepared with thoughtful questions and excellent reflections regarding "Poppy." I am indebted to them for their scholarship, their kindness and their care. (Jack Maher, author of “Poppy: A Novel About A Colorful Colorado Life.”)
Entertaining and Informative! It's refreshing to hear about more then just the "great men" of history
D Listers of History is an absolute delight! Fayge and Isa provide the perfect balance of humor & history. I’ve learned (and laughed) so much already, and can’t wait to hear more!
This is a great new show! Fayge and Isa are refreshing to listen to. I can’t wait to hear more episodes!
