Great podcast exploring the filler for criterions catalog with films so pretentious and avant-garde that New York's Wooster group looks palatable in comparison. I would like to see an episode on films that are mandatory buys because I got seven samurai and loved it but outside of Kurosawa it's hard to figure out what parts of the catalog are worth buying. Keep up the great work!
These two sow the seeds so we may harvest the crop of knowledge. We can all become more in tune with the art of film making without having to watch such movies as "Salo"and "Sweet Movie".
