Just found this channel & I am tickled that I did. I haven’t ventured off into podcast yet but I do have an itching just like the one I had for 15 years on the radio. Check out my YouTube channel, Frye Guy Frye.. keep on being YOU!
Great listen from start to finish. Extremely well produced, balanced sound (one of my pet peeves with podcasts is when a guest and host have different volume levels, this one is perfectly mixed). Love the approach to the interview from John, really helped paint a “start to present” story on Colin & Samir. Can’t wait for episode 2!
I’ve been following John’s podcasting work from his days helping record, edit, and broadcast podcasts from companies and businesses. John’s got a great skill for storytelling, and artfully weaves in music and transitions to make this an easy listen. Hearing from content creators is super fascinating and relevant for understanding our new wave of content creation as a career. I can’t wait to keep listening to this podcast!
Nothing is more refreshing then a host that takes the time to be creative when crafting a story about creatives. It’s an immersive experience with nuggets of great advice to go out and create. Can’t wait for the next episode to pop into the inbox.
I have been on a bit of a podcast binge lately. Every genre you can think of (lol). The sad news is that most business podcasts sound the same. Interview, conversation, the end. The great news is that this podcast is unique. From the production and design, to the guests stories, to the host — this show sets a standard that many shows will try to emulate moving forward.
Keep your eye on this show! It’s way ahead of its time.
John is such a good host, it made the conversation with these two awesome pioneers so much fun to listen to! The sound effects were a nice touch to the story telling, really got a kick out of that! Colin and Samir’s story is so inspiring. The advice Samir got of doing exactly what you want to do by any means necessary really hit home. John’s doing a great job of exactly that through this podcast. I absolutely cannot wait for the upcoming episodes :) love a good story! Keep up the good work!!
I am a creative, so naturally, I’m curious about other creators and their stories. This podcast scratches my curiosity itch. I’m looking forward to more stories from awesome creators. Not to mention the rich audio design. I feel like I’m in the room or at the scene with them.
John seriously always brings such insightful guests and I find the conversations are mind blowing. He gives you a lot to think about for life and work, and any content creator should definitely be listening. John asks very intellectual and emotionally in tune questions and I really appreciate his take on things as well. Seriously everyone should listen to this podcast!! I can’t wait for more episodes!!
John Frye is a great host with very interesting and insightful questions for his guests. I love how he is able to draw out of his guests their great stories and it’s relevance to our human experiences.
The host has a real knack for getting guests to dig into raw, exciting personal stories (loved the chopper scene), but also in getting creatives to talk through the process of creating something special. Great, enthralling storytelling for both sides of your brain.
John Frye is on an exponential growth pattern.
Having worked to tell the stories of so many companies in the SaaS space, it’s so fun to see him turning his mic towards the things he’s so passionate about!
Sky’s the limit with his amazing production quality and charisma. He’s crushing it!
Can’t wait for these to continue!
This is me shamelessly giving myself 5 stars! Lol putting 15-30 hours into each episode, hope you guys enjoy them! Bless!
This podcast has quickly become one of my favorites. Inspiring stories from creators with amazing sound design is about all you could ask for!
This podcast really takes what would have been a normal sit down interview and turns it into a very compelling story. It’s not just a fireside chat, it’s a full, detailed documentary with real characters and stories that hold you for the whole episode. Very well done.
