Reviews

4.4 out of 5 stars from 78 ratings
  • Decent, concise news reports.

Otherwise, I’d like less Orwellian Newspeak, and more regularly coherent headlines.

  • Orwell’s Newspeak & narrative reinforcement

    Travesties:

    May 19

    • “Pregnant people” - obviously “women”

    • reporting Gaza flotilla aim is to “deliver aid” - it’s activism in ignorance of reality, and contravenes *20+ yr* Israeli blockade

2026-04: Whoever wrote this show title needs more supervision, “Byelxn sweep gives Carney Liberals majority ‪gov’t‬”.

2025: The CP toes the progressive line on climate change, identity politics, civil unrest, crime, and ongoing international conflicts. For those complaining about the minute-long sports section, you’re free to skip it. I occasionally do.

  • Liberal Paid Media

Be aware that CP layers in the news under the Liberal umbrella and leans very left in how they tell the news.

The CP appears to toe the progressive line on climate change, identity politics, civil unrest, crime, and ongoing international conflicts, but that’s the rule among the mainstream news media, isn’t it? For those complaining about the minute-long sports section, you’re free to skip it. I do.
