I’m catching some of these episodes a couple years after they were first recorded, and honestly, Brent and Jay made good on their goal to make these conversations timeless. Love their dynamic and been a huge help in my own transition
As an Army officer, I love the insights Jay and Brent bring to the conversation surrounding the “leadership plateau.” They do a great job expounding on the good and bad the military offers. Whether one is continuing in their military career or transitioning out this is an inspiring and encouraging podcast.
Jay and Brent do a great job of painting a picture of what the transition process is like and give great tips on how to transition successfully from one framework to another which at the end of the day translates into what we all will face.
Brent and Jay do a great job of explaining the leap from a career in public service to the private world. While their content is intended for military personnel looking to make the leap, there are a lot of parallels to all public safety personnel as well.
I appreciate the honesty and advice from Brent and Jay. If you are thinking about transitioning out of the military definitely listen to this podcast. Each episode is thriving with invaluable insight and advice that has helped me think through my own journey.
