  • The go-to place for DevRel Content

In a world where finding quality content on how to do this new job called devrel, it can be hard to find support, learn, and do a better job. Community pulse as a group is the de-facto go-to place to learn about devrel. Pretty much the basis of everything I do now they have taught me in one place or the other.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Playing DevRel's Advocate (Ep 104)
Q: What techniques help deliver not-so-positive news to leadership without sacrificing credibility?
Offer data and concrete examples, propose alternatives, and present a clear path forward with potential risks and mitigations to make the case constructive rather than simply critical.
The DevRel Foundation (Ep 93)
Q: Is there a plan to include various implementation scenarios in the foundation?
We aim to include diverse perspectives to ensure varied implementation scenarios are addressed, making it comprehensive.
Community Conferences - What to know? (Ep 90)
Q: What keeps you returning back to these community conferences?
It's about the people and how those events can change lives by providing opportunities for people within the community.
Community Conferences - What to know? (Ep 90)
Q: What is your specific answer that led you to organize conferences?
It's one of the ways that you can make sure you're involved in something is to run it. I look back over my time running community around swing dancing as part of the reason for that as well.
The Importance of Humility and Sincerity in DevRel (Ep 95)
Q: How do you avoid the influencer label while still being an influencer?
I prefer being called an educator or mentor, focusing on helping others rather than influencing them.
