  • Do Better

I IMPLORE women everywhere to do better than what this host models. Women do not need to use their image & platform to simulate sex on stage, allow a known DV perpetrator to choke them, & then go on their podcast to brag about. Comparing oneself to Beyonce & then campaign for a reality show offer is in such poor taste. Truly disgusting. No self-respect after discussing DV a few episodes ago & then championing that behavior on stage. Do better, be better, & just grow up. Horrendous podcast & host... more

  • Disappointed

I generally enjoy this podcast but I was disheartened when Kayla spoke so eloquently about being a survivor of DV and then turned around a few weeks later to appear on stage with a convicted abuser who imitated choking her on stage. I cannot in good conscience listen anymore.

  • Amateur Hour

Made it through 2 episodes & that’s all I’ll ever do. To have this platform & use it in this way is just unbelievable. To literally say that the greatest gift a man can give his wife is generational wealth is pathetic. Women can do much better. To have a married actor on the pod to promote his show & his time is wasted discussing flying women out. He was visibly uncomfortable & had every right to be. Briefly mentioning his show at the end was just insulting. Amateur hour at best. Never again wil... more

Joy Taylor Talks Mastering Sports Media, Surviving Criticism, and Staying Authentic
Q: What is a good game plan for women who want to basically just stand in their power and stop fearing the idea of being perceived as too much?
Let the people who want less go find that. If you are meant to be more, it's your responsibility to tap into that.
The Beat with Makeup Shayla! Drugstore Dupes, Face App, and The Latest Drama in Hip-Hop
Q: What advice would you give someone who is starting out as a beauty influencer in today's day and age?
Don't quit your day job right away; focus on authenticity and passion for what you do. Consistency is more important than creativity.
The Evolution of Melvin Gregg: Ego Death, Fatherhood, and Life on Screen
Q: How did you break that nervousness that you were dealing with?
I started by using my nerves to fuel my character, working to channel that energy into the performance rather than letting it freeze me.
The Evolution of Melvin Gregg: Ego Death, Fatherhood, and Life on Screen

Sun, Sex, & Closure: My Euro Summer and Lessons in Love
Q: What should I do about being friends with benefits with an ex?
It's unhealthy if you're hoping for more; you should prioritize your emotional well-being.
