  • Making the Fantastic Relatable

This is a really interesting anthology show about mermaids. The fist season explores the transformation of a person into a mermaid, while the second looks at their relationships with other mythological sea creatures. more

  • This is such an interesting podcast and I was surprised by how much I liked it. I'm not really a connoisseur of mermaid stories, so I didn't know what to expect, but turns out this show is very well written and well acted. I binged the whole thing in one go and now all I want is a full season dedicated to the lich episode. The only problem I had was the sound quality on the actors' side; season 1 is a bit muffled and while season 2 improves on that, there's some reverb to a lot of the lines. Hop... more

  • Just finished the first season and LOVED it!! I was a huge fan of Emily Windsnap as a kid, and have been into mermaid fiction ever since. The Lost Voices trilogy was my LIFE in high school. Shade's delivery was GREAT throughout, and they did a beautiful job writing the monologues. The character's transition across the first season is SO WELL ACTED. Just listening to season 2 now, and I'm sure it'll be amazing!
