There was a moment during an episode when I was very familiar with the issue the guys were discussing, and they were getting the basic facts of the case wrong, even down to misgendering one of the involved parties. It clicked with me that if they were this wrong about something I knew well, how many other subjects were they just winging it for and I hadn’t noticed? • A chill and calm podcast that covers both Magic and current events

Been listening for nearly a year (I think, curse you pandemic time!) and enjoy the podcast for the calm, casual format as well as the mostly positive outlook on things. When the podcast does cover MTG topics, expect insightful and optimistic opinions. In the 4th if Feb 2022 episode, you mentioned that the rant one of the Canadian Trucker Blockade organisers went on had conspiracy stuff you weren’t familiar with. If you wished to learn more about it (make sure you do it in incognito, it’ll pollut... more

Episode 299 - Enter the Omentpaths
Q: How do you feel about the community's response to the Spider-man Omenpaths cards?
The responses are all over the board, with some excited and others confused about the changes, particularly concerning how they're presented on Arena vs paper cards.
Episode 277 - So Spongebob Wasn't That Bad
Q: What about you? What do you think was the biggest challenge?
For me, it has always been the time element. It's an all day thing, you have to travel and play for at least six rounds.
Episode 277 - So Spongebob Wasn't That Bad
Q: When you were doing any type of competitive gaming, what would you say was the hardest element for you to overcome?
The cost really. Every time you got to justify, especially once you've gotten married, like, wait, how much is this cardboard?
Episode 248 - Content is Work
Q: Did you have any warnings or concerns about them getting involved in any of the communities attached to those games?
Yes, I worried about them encountering toxicity, but we had discussions about it early on.
Episode 248 - Content is Work
Q: Do you remember the first time your kids wanted to learn one of your favorite games and how did you feel about it?
The first game was probably the Burnout series, and I felt excited to share that experience.
