  • Bored

Started off really interesting, but such a long wait between episodes, and about 50 episodes in, it feels like they ran out of material so there’s not much ground being covered. So you wait a week to hear an episode repeating the same thing over and over. Had a lot of potential, good storyline and acting but am too bored to finish the series.

  • The badgering gets old

Starts great, grows tiresome. Tessa begins badgering the interviewees to the point of bad cop TV tropes. Perhaps it’s the writers’ way of showing she is growing weary of this long distance investigation, but it comes off as grating and against the character she’d built up since the beginning. Perhaps it’s just a personal peeve, but the show’s losing my interest as it continues. A real shame. Still a stellar job by the cast, including Tessa’s actor.

  • Truly great acting. The story is standard, a classic murder mystery with a limited number of suspects, but what makes this podcast stand out for me are the performances of all the actors involved: they are all fantastic, and it's a real pleasure listening to them. Like another reviewer said, this feels absolutely "real".

  • How to put this?

I’m not sure how to convey the gravitas of what I thought of this podcast other than to say, regardless of the year, genre, or topic, this is best podcast I have ever listened to. Thank you so much for all the hours of entertainment

This is one of the best but also most frustrating podcasts. Acting is brilliant, story incredible.

Waiting a week for a new episode and you get 16 minutes. Really poor!!!! I am at the point now where I’m just not excited anymore.

Top tip - DONT START UNTIL ALL EPISODES ARE RELEASED.
