  • 80s child nostalgia

    I’m really enjoying listening to the back catalogue of this podcast. I think it helps that I’m of a similar age as the hosts and therefore have similar levels of nostalgia for films from the 80s and 90s, many of which I saw at the same point of my life. For example, I loved the episode featuring Santa Claus the Movie which has always been one of my favourite films, but is usually only referenced scathingly in modern pop culture. more

    When I first listened to this podcast they were comparing Stay Tuned and The Cable Guy so I gave it a shot as I didn’t think anyone remembered Stay Tuned. Glad I did as over the next year and a half it’s become the main podcast to which I listen. I find it funny looking back now after that first episode and thinking I must have the same taste in films as Alex and Vicky when all this last year has taught me is I am a Chris Tilly man at heart.
