今回ご紹介する映画は、『君は永遠にそいつらより若い』。原作は津村記久子さんの同名小説、監督と脚本は吉野竜平さん。原作を読んでから映画を観たのですが、どちらもとっても良かった。小説と映画との比較、それから映画を観たからこそ理解が深まったところなどを話しています。

今回はトッド・ヘインズが監督した2015年の映画『キャロル』について。1952年の冬のニューヨークを舞台に、デパートの玩具売場で働くテレーズ・ベリベットと主婦キャロル・エアードとのロマンスを描いた作品。そんな『キャロル』について、「テレーズとキャロルの視線のやり取りが気になるのはなぜなのか」をテーマに話しています。

今回は『ブルーボーイ事件』について話しています。パンフレットに載っていた監督の飯塚花笑さんとプロデューサーの遠藤日登思さんとの対談を読んだのですが、キャスティングから撮影、事件のリサーチに至るまで、かなり地道に細やかに行われて作られたようで、そこにもまた感動しました…。
※本編７：３３頃、主人公のサチを演じた中川未悠さんの苗字を「中村」と言い間違えていました。正しくは「中川」です。失礼いたしました。
