  • Terrible Writers

Use to listen regularly but after seeing some of the comments that some of their writers write on socials, I’ll move on to other FCC podcast:

“And to be clear, if you're looking to argue this point, I'm not just coming for you: you are a school in Iran, and I'm a US Tomahawk missile. But maybe, just maybe, you could argue that the new States have jettisoned sportsmanship, because we've admitted we can't otherwise compete.”

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

S11 E12 Jersey Swap - Red Bull New York - Michael Battista from Red Bulls Nation
Q: What do you think is the X factor for Red Bull New York in the upcoming game?
Julian Hall is the obvious X factor if he performs well, but Donkor could also tilt the game by pressuring the backline and creating chances from the wing.
S11 E10 Jersey Swap - Toronto FC - John Molinaro from TFC Republic
Q: What has Toronto FC done to turn their season around and what role has Daniel Shalloway played?
Shalloway has provided directness, versatility, and a tactical edge, playing multiple positions and facilitating attacking transitions that helped Toronto shift from earlier poor form to a more balanced and threatening side.
S11 E9 Jersey Swap - Red Bull New York - Mark Fishkin from the Seeing Red Podcast
Q: Do you see any major differences between he and his father in terms of coaching style?
Yes, Michael Bradley is open, gregarious, and more outwardly communicative, while Bob Bradley was tougher, more abrasive with the media, and had a more insular 'us against the world' approach.
S11 E9 Jersey Swap - Red Bull New York - Mark Fishkin from the Seeing Red Podcast
Q: what's your prediction for this game?
Both teams are capable of scoring and the match should be packed with goals; Red Bulls have been fluctuating, but Cincinnati is hungry and likely to push for a win.
CST Episode 457 - A Way Too Important Win
Q: What was the turning point of the match according to the hosts?
The late response after going down a man and the subsequent equalizer sparked momentum, culminating in a stoppage-time winner that flipped the result and gave the team belief for the rest of the season.
