Church & Family Life is an equipping organization with a fourfold focus: to produce resources, furnish conferences, provide mentoring, and connect families to Christ-centered churches through our FIC network. The heart of our ministry has always been to build up God-centered churches and families and equip them to think biblically.

  • Christian men displaying true biblical masculinity

I have been drawn to this podcast since I first was sent an episode by a friend a few months ago. I look forward to each new episode and I’m so so encouraged that there are men out there FOCUSED on glorifying God and enjoying him in their families, careers, and churches. I am so encouraged and driven closer to God when I hear these guys discuss what they do on here. I recommend it to any genuine believer who wants to live life biblically.

Listeners Say

Engaging and faith-filled conversations that help families align daily life with scripture.
A few episodes feel a bit narrow in focus, but the guests are often insightful and practical.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Gambling Is God’s Tax on Those Who Don’t Understand Math
Q: How should a young man rethink time, money, and opportunities in light of gambling and prediction markets?
Recognize that time is the most restricted resource, seek disciplined work, invest in real assets, and view money as a stewardship from God, not as a tool for luck or personal gain.
Gambling Is God’s Tax on Those Who Don’t Understand Math
Q: What would you say to that guy who says he's just backing his team like he would back a stock market investment?
That mindset treats betting platforms as investors rather than producers of value; it's not true investing, and it fails to contribute real goods or services, which Christianity emphasizes as meaningful work and stewardship.
The Titus 2 Woman: A Faithful Builder of the Home
Q: So Justin, what are your initial thoughts about this passage just sort of globally?
Justin Miller emphasizes that Titus 2 provides a clear framework for mature women to mentor younger women in lifelong, biblically-grounded roles—loving their husbands and children, managing the home, and promoting righteousness—while noting the current cultural resistance and the need for a generational shift through faithful church leadership.
Who Should Teach Our Children — Aristotle or Jesus?
Q: Could you just state as we wind this up, how would you describe the primary goal of education?
The aim is to glorify God, enjoy Him, know Him, and seek His kingdom first, via a biblical framework that prioritizes life-integrated discipleship and godly character over secular or worldly success.
The Life Story of Jeff Pollard
Q: Tell us about your birth and early childhood and where you were born.
Jeff describes being born in Southern Illinois, moving with his father who worked as an attorney for an oil company, and growing up largely along the Gulf Coast, which shaped his life later.
