, and oh, mi estrella, this episode is a fearless leap into the dazzling, whip-smart world of Puss in Boots: The Last Wish! Satsunami and Martin McAllister kick off Animation Month with the kind of gusto that’d make Puss himself tip his hat, delivering a podcast that’s equal parts heart, humor, and high-octane hype. It’s like they’ve snatched the Wishing Star and wished for the perfect blend of nerdy analysis and belly-laugh banter. From geeking out over the fi... more

  • Such a great show!

This show is super entertaining! I listened to the four year anniversary episode, and as a podcaster myself, I can’t wait to look back on all of our eps and see the differences between year one and year four. These guys genuinely enjoy each other‘s company, and have created a great show with an audience that’s anxious for the next episode to release. I’m glad for the humor, and as a typical American, I am grateful for the accents, as well. Definitely waiting for the next episode myself.

  • I’m Cool Now

When I was a kid I loved comic books, action figures, superheroes & all that stuff. All the other kids bullied me & called me a nerd. I may have had to wait until I was in my 50’s but I’m finally the cool kid. This group makes me feel even cooler! Love hanging out at the cool Pandalorian table!

  • A Pleasant Smorgasbord of Pop Culture Goodness

I’m not always a fan of multi-topic podcasts, finding they can often be too widespread that they become hit and miss (more often miss). However, this show is different - entertaining main host, equally entertain guests and co-hosts, and a genial conversational style that draws you in and entertains until the very end. Good stuff!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

The Name's Nami, Chatsunami! Let's Discuss 007 First Light
Q: How does the game balance heart and action, especially with the deaths of Monroe and Greenway?
The hosts highlight the emotional weight of character losses and the way the narrative builds humanity into the Bond universe, making these moments feel earned rather than gratuitous.
The Significance of Bioshock 2 || Bioshock Month
Q: What was your impression of Bioshock 2's shift in leadership and direction compared to the first game?
There was curiosity and some trepidation about Ken Levine stepping back; the hosts note how the new team aimed to preserve the atmosphere while trying different design choices, like the expanded weapon system and the focus on moral choices with the Little Sisters, which sparked both praise and debate.
Podcasting Makes Me Feel Good! A Conversation with the Loch Ness Ghostbuster
Q: What role does charity play in your cosplay journey, and can you share a memorable example?
Charity work is central to the group's ethos; visiting children in hospital in full gear, organizing fundraising activities like the abseil down Dunrobin Castle, and participating in Ghostbusters Give Back are all examples of how the fandom translates into tangible support for those in need.
Podcasting Makes Me Feel Good! A Conversation with the Loch Ness Ghostbuster
Q: Why choose the Loch Ness region for your moniker, and what prompted you to cosplay in public?
Inverness is close to Loch Ness, and the marine folklore around the Loch gave the name a strong sense of place. The initial spark came from a desire to bring joy to people and to combine my NHS role with charity work and community events, turning cosplay into a positive, public-facing persona.
Podcasting Makes Me Feel Good! A Conversation with the Loch Ness Ghostbuster
Q: What was your starting point with the Ghostbusters, and how did it lead to the Loch Ness Ghostbuster persona?
Growing up in the late 80s and early 90s, I was hooked by the real Ghostbusters cartoons, movies on VHS, and the toy line, which slowly evolved into a personal mission to attend conventions and build a full cosplay with a proton pack, flight suit, and gear that eventually became a recognizable community identity.
