Hi- I am a second year medical student, and as we started our psych unit and covered substance use, I wanted to find a podcast that helped me better understand the lived experience of people with substance use disorder. A few days later, Jeannine popped up on my instagram, and I started listening ! I absolutely love this show, the hosts, and the guests they invite to tell the story of addiction and its impact. • Found a Friend

I absolutely love this show! I am 9 1/2 months sober after a terrible relapse on Kratom and meth. You and your guests have been a daily presence and reminder that there is life after drugs. I lost my apt. my kids and I wrecked 4 cars in 6 months of relapse. I feel like I found a friend in recovery through this show. I have listened to all the episodes, some of them 3-4 times through. Thank you, thank you, thank you for being there through it all! Love you guys!
