  • Good But Repetitive

I’ve been listening for years and was even in the Discord for a while. Certain episodes are stellar, 10/10. The analysis offered is often far above average. However, after a while, you can predict what they’re going to say. I saw this in the Discord—it seems like the CS community is obsessed with looking for crazy takes from black women and LGBTs which they can trash. I know that a lot of nonsense gets said. I don’t agree with the crazy “SJWs,” and yes, to some extent, their ideas have been main... more

  • Refreshing

I love this podcast. Trevor, Vita, Mario and Ken are so intelligent and hilarious. The guests are well-chosen — they tend to be academics and lesser-known writers with distinct perspectives rather than overrated New York media celebrities. Their research is exhaustive and varied. I find criticism quite dicey these days; in the rare times it is present, it feels like it’s designed to go viral and give the critic some sort of strange online street cred, or it’s just contrary without substance — th... more

  • Great

Love this pod - been listening for years. They put out a ton of content so I can pick and choose the topics that interest me. I appreciate that all of the hosts are not just professional podcasters and thus actually have deep insight into what they discuss . They’re not media people either which is why their conversations often feel authentic in a way I don’t hear often. Ok my only critique comes from a place of love and wanting to hear all of the hosts.. please y’all work on not interrupting ea... more
