  • Can we get ALL 3 hours please!

I have been listening to uncle Nick and Chris since the days of the “Bottom Line”. You may be wondering how an African American male has two white Italian uncles! It’s because these guys have been like uncles talking sports around the house for like 20+ years! Nobody analyzes it better and nobody will make you laugh more! Absolutely love these guys and glad to see them on Apple Podcasts!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Cellini & Dimino Hour 2 (03.26.2026)
Q: Which coach do you think has actually done the best job among teams still remaining?
The consensus is not clear, but Bilas notes that evaluating coaching in a landscape with injuries, transfer activity, and evolving recruiting tactics is complex; he praises several coaches for adapting well, and emphasizes that some traditional powers have struggled while others have found renewed success.
Jay Bilas - ESPN College Hoop Guru, Friend of Show
Q: Do you think the media overemphasizes freshmen compared to proven veterans?
Yes, the media often gives more attention to newcomers who are flashy or have big headlines, while the steady, championship-oriented players who have stayed and contributed over multiple years can be undervalued. It's important to watch what players do, not just what they are labeled as.
Jay Bilas - ESPN College Hoop Guru, Friend of Show
Q: Jay, how do you view the current balance between coaching pressure and player development in today's game?
I think you can be demanding and hold players accountable without crossing into demeaning behavior. The key is focusing on the content of what you say and making sure your methods inspire effort and improvement, not just fear. This balance has always mattered, but it's being defined differently in the NIL era.
Cellini & Dimino Hour 2 (03.24.2026)
Q: How surprised are Hawks fans by their turnaround and what indicators should we watch in the final stretch of the season?
Marks emphasizes the importance of health in the last 12 games, how rotations may tighten, and the role of veteran leadership and timely shooting to sustain a playoff run.
Scott Cross, New Georgia Tech Basketball Coach
Q: How do you toe the NIL balancing act—paying players fairly while keeping them at the right program for the right reasons?
Cross explains that players want to know their value and be compensated, but the priority is getting a Georgia Tech degree and building a program with high-character, coachable players who stay committed beyond the money.
