  • Can we get ALL 3 hours please!

I have been listening to uncle Nick and Chris since the days of the “Bottom Line”. You may be wondering how an African American male has two white Italian uncles! It’s because these guys have been like uncles talking sports around the house for like 20+ years! Nobody analyzes it better and nobody will make you laugh more! Absolutely love these guys and glad to see them on Apple Podcasts!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Cellini & Dimino Hour 1 (3.4.2026)
Q: What should be done if a player tests positive for a PED substance and is on a restricted list?
The guest and hosts converge on a hardline approach: release the player publicly once on a restricted list, potentially justify it to the public, and use the situation to influence future collective bargaining discussions about penalties and guaranteed money.
Jeff Passan - ESPN Baseball Insider & Friend of Show
Q: Is Lucas Giolito a realistic target for the Braves, given the current market and aging assessments of pitchers?
Passan views Giolito as one of the top arms available, and the discussion centers on a potential one-year deal that could solidify the rotation without long-term commitments.
Jeff Passan - ESPN Baseball Insider & Friend of Show
Q: Could the Profar situation actually free up money the Braves can use to address other needs, like pitching?
Yes, Passan notes that the Braves could redirect the freed-up $18 million (plus CBT considerations) toward pitching acquisitions or internal improvements to strengthen the rotation.
Jeff Passan - ESPN Baseball Insider & Friend of Show
Q: What are the realistic timelines for a Profar return if any, and how might the Braves respond in the meantime?
Passan suggests the league has not yet announced details, but the second-time suspension typically precludes a stay, and teams may pursue compensation or replacement options while Profar is withheld.
Steve Phillips - MLB Network & MLB Network Radio, Friend of Show
Q: Are you surprised that Alex hasn't gone after anybody in that regard with the staff being where it is right now?
Alex is one of the more aggressive GMs, and it may be that they have information that Gio Leado is not the right fit for them.
